So now that only the driver of any vehicle will count when capping a flag, how will this change your gameplay?

For the better? For the worst? Won't change?

Q: What are the main fixes in this patch?
A: I think one of the more popular ones will be that players have to get out of a Blackhawk to capture a flag. Now in a full Blackhawk only the pilot counts in the flag capture raduis.

Well, if I was in an APC or Tank, I would just jump out, cap the flag, then jump back in.

I think this is a boon too us snipers. So many times we see a squad come upto a flag only for them to hide or hover in a vehicle.

Now everyone except the pilot will need to hop out to count as a flag capture, and since everyone wants those Capture assist and Neutralize assist points they'll jump out - HEADSHOT!!!

I think It will be cool, they just need to add the missles back to BH so the pilot will have something to use!

hopefully it will just change the way BH people play as in pilots landing and letting people out at flags.

The worst case scenario is that nobody will go in the blackhawks anymore.

I still think you'll have your medic pilot and two engineers who'll give cover fire while the others will jump out and help cap a flag.

Instead of hiding from an incoming Blackhawk and waiting for them to cap the flag, you'll actually have to fight them as they depart from the helicopter.

I think everyone still gets points, in the BH. The only thing changing is now instead of 4 seconds for a flag cap it'll take the 30 seconds or soo. Unless folks jump out, then it will go faster.

Nope, only the driver of said vehicle get points. The other passengers don't count or get points.

This is quite a drastic change in the way the game works. I have faith that DICE have playtested it thoroughly though, and all will be well.

Itll cut down on the blackhawk whoring. And it wont affect me at all.

Forget what DICE have done to playtest it, how do YOU think it will effect YOUR gameplay?

Good then finally the BH will be used as a transport vehicle, not a flying point harvesting, self repairing fortress.
A squad gets transported from A to B, gets out, the pilot returns to point A, picks up more people, drops them at B or C, etc. Now this sounds like fun. Not the squads capping flag after flag, not defending, not doing anything for the team but hugging all the available points.

I have NO problem what so ever with the changes coming up regarding transport vehicles.
The only ones I see having a problem with those upcoming changes are the people actively involved in BH Flag Cap Whoring.
Hey, I'ts till going to be possible, but now at least it will require some amount of skill to accomplish this.

It's not going to change much at all. The good BH teams will still rack up the points. Guys will just parachute out while the copter covers them. If they die, they'll respawn in the copter and try again. If they take the flag, they'll land and pick eveyrone up or folks will suicide and respawn in the BH.

Best part of all, the whiners will still whine because they can't handle getting owned by good teams.

If Dice really wants to make a change, they should remove parachutes from all players which would force the guys to actually land the BHs -- or, better yet, put the fast ropes in that were originally promised.
