besides a Claymore marker i would like to see the possibillity to detonate claymores by shooting at them to clear.

I guess it would be asking too much for a player to have better situational awareness and visually identify the obstacle themselves?

Wouldn't make a difference. Even if they identify it as a friendly C4, by a unique icon or by visual inspection, it doesn't mean the team-mate holding the trigger cant see that your on his team. I dont know how many times newbis have done this to me while I was on the way to protect a flag. I see its a friendly C4 and pass it only to get blown up because he pushed the button.

So now I avoid anything marked with the red skull as should anyone.

For seeing them.. I think the Red skull/bines is more than enough... ...

As for the *Sigh.. punishment... they should make stepping on a friendly mine = Suicide (-2 for whoever tripped them) and nothing for who layed them..

You wouldn't feel that way if you had an ass who just wanted to fly your jet or tank lay a bunch of mines on the runway near your hanger in Operation Clean Sweep, etc, or perhaps laying 1 mine in all 4 corners of your tank. At that point its not fair to count it as a suicide, but rather a TK on you!
