Well in certain situations the gaming community really really needs this patch bad. I just hope that some "bugs" get fixed. F.e. the TOW rocket flies right through a Tank/APC etc..

I could name over 200 things that EA and Dice could easily fix. Half of them will be, but the other half won't. No matter how much work it takes, EA doesn't accpet opinions from other parties (that would significantly make it better) because they are selfish and want more money. Some things will never be fixed.

I think that EA should just forget about the patch and let all those that are mad, sulk in their own misery. I've given up after two patches being buggy, I don't intend on the third to make much of a major difference in how my game plays, etc.

COD 2 is around the corner, I'm about ready to start a new game either way.

Keep em waiting EA. Push it back until after Special Forces!!!

This is an EA labeled game, what'd u expect ?

Every EA game, including Xbox, has it's issues. Why only Ea games got that problem? Rushing the games and slamming the nuts of developers so they dont have time to fix it up, that's EA. Get used to it.

I haven't played in a couple of weeks. I think my last game was 2 months ago.. One of the main reason if not the the ONLY reason why I'm not playing this game is because of the poor performance, bugs & unoptimized game... I expected much more from Dice & EA. Battlefield 1942 was playable & enjoyable after 3-4 patches. It should be the same for BF2. Hopefully this patch will worth the LONG wait. It'd better be a 300MB download with tons of fixes and new feature...

However I doubt EA care anymore about us, since they have our money they're probably spending it on Sims 2 Third expansion... That said, DOD: Source is just around the corner so is FEAR, COD2, Elders Scroll IV Oblivion, Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter, Age Of Empire III, Loast Coast, Aftermath. Just to name a fews ...If Dice & EA doesn't deliver a GOOD patch before the end of October, this game will be rapidly forget...

I mean everybody got a point here. I am also sure that EA and DICE is working hard on the patch, but there are really a lot of good games about to see the light in October. F.E.A.R. and Quake 4 is something I am definetly gonna check out, but BF2; no matter how much it ****es me off sometimes, I cannot stop playing. Bottom line this game rocks. Hopefully the new patch will have some kick a$$ stuff in it, so I can get my gunner buddy back to play this joint.

A bunch of you guys are whinny little kids. It is a game if you don't like how it works now don't play it, or just stop playing till the patch comes out. I already can see the same people whining now are going to whin just the same ofter the patch comes out. You guys should just like the game and be happy that EA is even doing a patch. I think the game is great just like it is. They did a great job and I have nothing to complain about except the complainers!!!

Unfortunately, that is not how it works in the real world.

When you pay money for a product, and that product doesnt provide what is supposed to, as a customer, you have the right to ask for it to be fixed.

It does get annoying seeing many threads about the same thing, but if EA would have actually put a bit more effort into their timing, this would have been avoided.

So dont simply blow off peoples' criticism as complaining, people have the right to ask for what they paid for.

this game does give you what you paid for. It is war on a computer. Plus name another game that is this good, just like it is, that is FREE online.

We don't post that kind of thing here, especially when they claim to be "leaking" unreleased information. I've seen an awful lot of rumors, and almost all of them are lies or misrepresented, distorted facts.

Reading those things will only get you confused and disappointed when what some idiot says turns out to be not true at all.

But between you and me, I know for a fact that with the next patch they will be adding the war of 1812, only with spaceships...
