I'm wondering if its possible to switch between mouselook & flight controls very quickly so it does each for a few milliseconds. Cant get it working, but it might be too jery

Problem is when you switch out of mouselook it recenters the camera automatically.

Although if you do it fast enough like you suggested I'm not sure it will try to recenter each time you come out of mouselook mode.

Run two instances of JoyToKey.

Doing this will also allow you to map a button on your joystick to be pressed to spot what's currently in front of your nose.

I'm doing that, but I'm still getting mixed results. On the chopper I can pan left, but not right. With just the JoyToKey mouse/hat panning implemented, I can pan with the joystick hat though by holding down CTRL.

Did you configure JoyToKey yourself or did you use my pre-configured setup?

Inside are you configs. Load 2 instances of JoyToKey. In 1 instance, select one config, and in the 2nd instance, select the other config.

I gave your configs a try, but unfortunately they didn't work any better than mine (in fact, they were nearly identical to the two configs I created). Maybe it's something specific to my joystick/system. I'll let you know if I find anything that works.
