    This is just what I've seen from all my experience with the M95, but I think your vertical position relative to your target's has an effect on the M95, as well as distance. Lately I've noticed that when I'm standing on higher ground, and I aim right at their head with the M95, it actually shoots past them, going slightly over their head. So I aim at their neck and they die in one shot. Could also be a lag thing or whatever, but it's helped me improve with the M95 lately.

    GOLDEN RULE: Don't try to figure out a general rule (except this one ) for everything you do in the game, just figure out what works FOR YOU, and do it!

      Whoa there... WAY too much thinking into. deviation is merely a multiplier that enlarges an imaginary 'box' that dictates what your bullet's initial vector will be. It doesn't know or care about vertical or horizontal. I don't know about the bullet drop part, nor care. It's been argued back & forth so many times, I doubt that even the guy who programmed that part of the engine could convince some of these people they were wrong. I'm inclined to say that 'bullet drop' is really just gravity since all BF2 objects have mass (the ones you interact with). Also, heavier projectiles (eryx, tow, etc) def. have an arc to them. I haven't looked for the code in the .con/.tweak files for the generic bullet but I would assume it's given a mass of 1 (like bf42), since bullet move at 1000m/s (except for support weapons which move at 500m/s).
