I have been sifting through many previous posts with regard to the accuracy of the sniper rifles ("here we go again" you're probably saying), but I've got an interesting suspiscion that I havn't heard anyone mention yet.
When zoomed in, there is no recticle convergence (like the yellow crosshaur normally or particularly like in games such as Raven Shield). However, shots that I've made when keeping the mouse still are more accuracte than when I've recently repositioned the crosshair.
I'm wondering if there is an 'invisible' accuracy guage.
I found an M95 on a body on "Operation Cleensweep" and pulled off a headshot on some guy who was as far away as could be without fading into the distance.
He must have been afk cos he was completely still. After some misses, I aimed about a 'foot' above his head and kept the mouse still for about 2 seconds before firing. Perfect HeadShot. Does this just prove that the weapon is highly innaccurate... or that the weapon needs steadying and bullet falls over long distances too. Seeing as I don't get many oppertunities to run tests like that one... can anyone offer their experiances regarding whether 'weapon-steady' is real or just BS?
