Re: Whats the lamest thing to happen to you in Bf2?

Being banned off a server for tking like just about everyone here, despite never ever once deliberately tking and tryin to play to the best of my ability with a squad and help out, enjoy the game and so on, then going onto a map with some twat 'moo she' something or other who Tk'd for about three entire rounds and didn't get kicked, this idiot was bragging he wanted to beat his -400 best or somethin, really really annoying but i have to admit found myself laughing at the end his taunts were quite funny and obviously the whole team were goin nuts. With regards to the TK punish thing, I find myself always givin the benefit of the doubt now and never punishing unless it's 100% deliberate.

I always forgive now because I know how annyoing it is when you get punished and it wasnt your fault, and often if your on the receiving end you cant tell if it is deliberate or not. ONly time I have punished recently is being shot while pilot of BH while still on carriier because someone else wants to fly the BH.

I think the reason most people did punish when the idiot crashed his BH in to mine while still on the carrier (see earlier post p2 I think) was because they thought I was the one flying the BH that crashed into mine, not the one sitting in the BH still on the deck

If I'm TK'd I take the full 10 2nds to consider if that person should be punished...80% of the time I don't because it really isn't there fault. Either I did something like run in front of someone laying down suppression fire or a pitched battle and gets naded though they kill 3 other enemies.

I was in a full BH, engineer in the back. Not on a gun, just in one of those seats that is completely useless if the only weapon you have is a shot gun. So I am doing repairs. However, we take a lot of fire and are in the red, so I bail out.

At a safe distance away, I get my parachute open, land on the ground and start running. Next thing I know the BH has gone down and I get every TK for it. I wasn't even near the damn thing when it went down. It was probably 200m away, at least.

Luckily, it was filled with friends, so I only got punished by one guy who probably thought I was the pilot. . . everyone else just laughed.

Waiting patiently for an attack heli, getting Tk'd by some guy who was desperate to get it before me. He would then last around 30 seconds before crashing or getting shot down. I would be waiting back at the heli re-spawn having given a little abuse and punishing a blatant deliberate TK knowing full well he would do it again. After the 5th time he got kicked and banned. my only only regret was him not being able to see me laughing at him.

On Karkand, and I was sniping on a building, I had been up there for less than 30 seconds when the other team's commander decides to use an entire arty strike on me, that was rather annoying ¬_¬

Now I think that's fair use of arty. Karkand can be a hard map to use arty on without getting a bunch of tk's as everyone is in close proximity. If i see a lone sniper whom i know i can take out with out with an arty strike in relative safety then all the better.

Forgetting how many C4 I had while destroying the enemy commanders toys. So I clicked one too many times and killed myself.

Getting out of my tank to fix it to have my own teammate steal it from me and run over me. I gladly took the -6 points for killing him.

Spawning on a hiding leader who then freaks out and unloads his weapon on you.

Running up the stairs in a construction site, missing the corner, and running off the roof.

                          Squad leader jet pilots.

Jumping in the black hawk in Oman. Player forgets to mention they have never piloted before and we wind up upside down. You can either a) ride it out and explode b) jump out and get crushed.

Bombing a base full of tanks and infantry, and getting punished by one guy that thought he was going to magically captued a base with 15 enemy troops in it. Not to mention the fact that with that many people in the base, you will not even see a friendly dot on the mini-map. Kill 12 enemies/ 1 friendly= punished

Nothing wrong with a BH upside down, if I feel adventurous and am being aim at by multiply AA (and also if I am the only one in it just in case I do mess it up) do a barrel roll in BH, its great for dodging missles, but you need LOTS of height first. Try it in single player first though so you can get the height right, you need lots!

When you beat a n00b to a plane so he stands infront and refuses to move so you can't take off, you take off and tk him and he instantly punishes you.
I don't think ive ever had a round in a plane were i didn't start off with -4... hum....
