What Mousemat is the best for BF2? ?

i got the logitech mx518 and was wondering what u guys used for ur mousemat, as i sometimes struggle to track smooth!!

i currently use a piece of carbon fibre, it looks cool but aint the best!!

Without wanting to hijack this thread :), it seems like a good place to ask something about my mouse. I have an optical Microsoft mouse, and every now and then it sorta "spasms"; ie it'll aim at the sky or spin round a few times. Is this a general problem with optical mice, or is it because I don't actually use a mousemat?

sounds like not using a mousemat, mine occassionally stutters, i think its something to do with the surface and the optic's not reflectin rite?

Ok. it's kinda hard to describe, but it's probably something to do with the optics. Maybe something gets in the way slightly. I just thought I wouldn't need a mat as my desk is flat and smooth.

If you use an optical mouse on a shiny surface, it will cause your mouse to shoot off in a random direction every once in a while. That includes a desk made of laminated wood or a glossy mousepad.

i use a Steelpad 4D..and its perfect for my Mx518...dont take it personally but i think that the icemat makes to much noise when you are using your mouse...its out of glass...my friend had one of the first icemats and it was pretty frustrating to play with it..so stick with the steelpad..

That's the same one I have. It works great, but make sure you have plenty of desk space for it, because that thing is freaking MASSIVE.
