the f35 is a real life fighter which is soon to come into service it was designed as a replacement for the harrier jumpjet...both usa and the uk put money into this project as they both rely on the harriers abilities that is why it is called the JOINT strike fighter...
Only the F-35B. The A & C variants are for use by the Air Force and Navy repectively. The B model is the only one with STOVL capabilities while the C has a slightly larger wing area and larger reinforced landing gear for carrier landings.
I hate the J-10.Its so unstable. I love the JSF, its amazingly easy to kill things with it, just slow down until you reach hover and then pwn everything with miniguns.
The JSF hover is worthless in a dogfight. I've had way too many people try that on me. For starts, you can see it coming ahead of time and start to slow yourself down because the nozzle at the back points the thrust downwards, which tells you right there and then that 'hey, he is slowing down'. Once that person has slowed down and becomes a stationary target, you can just finish him up with a nice mg sandwich or put a couple missiles up that jets but if he has already tossed his flares.
