The reason I think some of the medals are kinda ridiculous (yes) is becuase EA kinda planned for the long haul on this thing. They didn't exactly intend for you to be playing 500 hrs straight and what not the idea was probably to just have people playing and as time goes by you will naturally accumulate those hours. If you could get all those badges within a week or 2 time frame what then? That little public server interest will be gone pretty fast, hence some of the medals are made to be a pain in the ass, you will struggle for it, keep you playing etc etc......
Knife kills are very easy once you grasp it, it's not like the knives in previous BF's this one is different, kinda hard to explain you just have to play with it. Notice sometimes you cant knife someone when your right up on thier ass, but yet you can knife them when they are at a little distance from you. Just keep playing with it and you will get it, there is a trick to it.Comment

Pretty shrewd on EA's part if you ask me. Of course, if they really want us to play this game for years to come, they need to keep up their end of the deal and provide regular patches with new vehicles, maps, etc. -- just like a mod does. i have my expert knife with over 250 knife kills, it's not that hard really you just got to keep trying and play Karkand all the time.
Explosives: JIHAD JEEP!! my all time favorite thing to do. you will lose points from killing yourself but if you really want this badge you'll do it. put C4 all over your, jeep switch to the detonator, get in, drive to an enemy and when you get close enough hold the horn and exit the vehicle. instant death to those close enough. you can also do this with tanks and APCs if you want to get closer to then without being blown up.Comment

Drive around with the linebacker on a map like Dragon Valley, that's how I got mine, pretty quick aswell.
