can't state this enough - don't waste cash getting the more expensive versions, get the cheapest one and you get ALL the benefits. Even BF2 makes no use of the xram.

Not quite, the elite pro uses different dacs and components, the SNR is higher and sound quality is better than the other 3 models.

But personally i couldnt go all the way to elite pro prices, so I went with the FPS model ordered straight from creative (£10 off retail price plus free shipping, but still stupidly expensive!)
