Nah i cant take the credit for that tactic, i just happen over it by luckily joining the right squad.., damn if i can remember the SL's ID or i wouldve give him a mention.

I have the memory span of a goldfish sometimes, pls refer to .stml its a new RFC (short term memory loss) :P

I wasn't taking about the tacktic specifically but you've been posting for a while and seem to post relevent and meaningful stuff, not just spam.

You'll HAVE to do that after the patch...

I doubt it, the pilot will just have to hover slightly lower. Once it's low, the people just bail, cap, and jump and hit E, and they're gone. Just going to take a pilot with a bit more skill to continue capping at the rate they do now.

With the difference that they are on the ground and that they cannot repair and defend at the same time.

With the changes in the next patch, I think this is the way you will have to do it. :)

They are making it so that only 1 person in a vehicle counts as being in the cap zone, the others must get out for them to be counted as being in the flag radius.

so if a tank crew rolls up to a flag, one person will have to get out and possibly be killed just to get points for capping a flag? that doesnt seem right.

reading that initial post made me smile, especially since i just finished getting owned on Mashtuur. That is blatantly how it was supposed to be done, well, if i remember rightly they were going to give us a zip lines and what not, and in theory they (EA/DICE) intended to have people scaling down ropes to cap flags after a ground battle, then use some other fancy gizmo to get bak in the chopper, or just hop back in the low hovering BH when the area is secure. Man that would of been sweet to do.

Ah well, fingers crossed the patch does what we hope and people start using that tactic. (not my crazy "could have been" tactic)
