I think that EA should and will add some more Urban maps in a later patch. I also think it would be cool if some maps that the community has created (which are very cool by the way! Keep 'em coming!) should be reviewed by EA and tweaked for balancing and such, then allow the use of those community maps on ranked/official servers. That would be awesome.

I agree there should be some bigger maps in this game, but the 64 player cap is just too small for such large maps. I like the bf2 style more then cs or call of duty, but still I would want more action. I remember when the demo came out and there were some 64 players on the 32 size map... It was awesome and everybody was satisfied cause there were planes and everything.

Personally, I enjoy urban / city maps. It really puts you in the mind of today’s soldier. I enjoy all of the maps, and yes, some are large, but if you play with a squad, you can spawn close to the front lines and get it on most of the time via your squad leader.

On my wish list, more maps like Karkand & Mashtuur, but why not with planes?? It will give pilots a real challenge, and us infantry a chance to evade those bombs.

i like the smaller urban maps, they are best for teamwork and more action

the larger maps become a pain in the a*se if you get stuck waiting for a vehicle, i.e. noobs just drive off by themselves, LOL

would be cool to have some city scape maps, like LA or New York, type of atmosphere

What i want to see is some rural maps but without vehicles or aircraft. Snipers may be a problem in such a case but throw in plenty of trees and rocks for cover and your set for a decent map that could promote squad play.

Bah, I like the big rural maps. Adds an element of stealth and stratagey to the game.

yeah, the nice mix of maps works best for most. nice variety. also, the jamming of 32 or 64 players onto small maps is freakin' AWFUL. not much further up from a knife & pistol server, IMO.

and iwth most 16 player servers...u can overrun a spawn point so fast its not even funny and then theres all the spawn campers..speed is the key

I was thinking. We all think that maps like Dragon Valley are too big. Why not use the 16 player size map and fill it with 64 people. That way everybody gets to fight and the map still isn't too small.. Same with kumbra dam (which I played like 10 minutes in my whole bf2 carreer, because it's too freaking large) and all the other huge maps. If you're a plane fan, just go to the other servers, but I really think server admins should use the smaller maps.

I say give large maps a try...

at first i was stuck to only the spec op class, but badges gave me a goal to work with other classes.
Large maps are fun too..if u can not kill, then capture flags!

i like the wide open maps, but unless you are good in a heli or plane, then the points are better in urban maps
