to people who want more urban maps

I was thinking. We all think that maps like Dragon Valley are too big. Why not use the 16 player size map and fill it with 64 people. That way everybody gets to fight and the map still isn't too small.. Same with kumbra dam (which I played like 10 minutes in my whole bf2 carreer, because it's too freaking large) and all the other huge maps. If you're a plane fan, just go to the other servers, but I really think server admins should use the smaller maps.

I've played a few maps with 64 players on the 16 player versions. The problem with this is the tickets for each team are set quite low to compliment the 16 player map, therefore the rounds are over very fast. If you could find a way to change the ticket ratio then you'd be in business.

Sharqi is my personal fav

however I just love the 32 man servers hosting the 64 player map sizes

Battlefield games have always been about wide open spaces and vehicle combat, and not focused on close quarters. So if you want close quarters infantry fights, go play Call Of Duty, Counter-Strike, or any other game Im missing.

Ryoshima - if you are saying that then I suggest you don't buy the expansion pack! Every game has its qualities, heck CS:Source even has some open maps. Yes BF series is made to be open ended but everyone has their tastes and are entitled to it. Don't go flaming and moaning of what people should play, perhaps you were the little child who got omgwtfpwned in all of them!

I'd like to see an urban map involving the Chinese - since we have karkand, mashtur, and sharqi - where's the fighting in asia! :)

We played 64 people on 16 man Daging Oilfields the other day, ranked server, and the tickets were done in a matter of a few minutes....I imagine on an unranked server, with the ratio jacked up to 300% or more, then it'd be madness...

Tickets really suck on maps like that and artillery just rapes everyone, but can be a lot of fun. For some reason my favorite map for 16 players is kubra damn which scares me since thats my most hated map.

I wasn't flaming anyone, I was pointing out something. I am going to buy the expansion pack, for the whole night maps reason along with the other cool features. Which most likey there will be some really cool mods that require the Expack. Everyone here just needs to calm down. Oh and Pentium, yes I did get owned alot when I played CS when I got it, but ya know, who doesn't suck at a game once they get it, Im pretty good at it now, even though last time I played it was maybe a few months ago.

I dont want more Urban maps, I want maps set in Europe, maybe some farms, or a winter map would also be nice. Although they would need to give different skins if they did a winter map, but it would be ace, and a nice addition to the game.

Doesn't need to be in europe but winter maps would be quite nice.
