I installed this driver, and didn't notice a huge jump to be honest. Perhaps on a lower-end system it will make a significant difference, but not on mine.

Oh and also, why isn't this on Creative's website? They are still offically on an Apr 05 release.

To get full advantage from the new drivers (either the new A2 or X-fi), don't forget to do the OpenAl fix as well,

OK i have a slight problem now. I uninstalled my audigy 2 due to crackling and popping sound in BF2. I uninstalled it rebooted reinstalled everything with the CD that came with the sound card. I rebooted and now i cant select the EAX console. Says reinstall application which i have done several times and i still cant select the eax console.

you'll need to do a clean sweep and reinstall, check creative's support site for instructions
