Re: "Enemy sighted" spam, new script ?
I just wish the smaktards would understand when it says "Enemy unit spotted" and it puts a ? on the map - it doesn't know WTF you just spotted.
Make sure whatever you are spotting is coming across as "Enemy troops spotted" or "Enemy Tank Spotted" etc - then you are helping your team. If you try again and do not get the right tag to it - YOU ARE TOO FAR AWAY or you have crooked friggen eyesight.
Move up - make sure you can see a flash of their red name - and then do it - usually works then.
The only time I spam (and by spam I mean 2-3 times max) a unit spotted is when I see my squad leader or another squad member heading to impending doom - and they are dumbasses and not on voice. It would take too long to type out - LOOKOUT YOU TOOL - so I nail the "Tank Spotted" etc - and just hope they look up at the mini map to see how screwed they are.
Also - if I see a helicopter hovering around I will spot them every 5 seconds or so - just to make sure they are shown as long as they are flying around, or in an air battle with one of my choppers - or better yet - IF I AM A GUNNER AND MY PILOT DOES NOT HAVE VOICE - I spot the enemy chopper every 5-10 seconds so the pilot can see them on radar (especially for BH pilots). If you are on the ground and see this happening - do my a favor as a ground pounder and spot that soon to be dead chopper for me so I can keep my gunner on him or take him out myself.
I know it sounds like I just sit around and spot - which is not true - I mean I do it when I can. You get the idea.
Oh and for the boat spotting in the city, etc fools out there - sure it was funny every once in a while - BUT THE GAG IS OLD. Knock it off, get a better sense of humor, or just go back to your pokemon.
