"Enemy sighted" spam, new script ?

I have noticed lately quite a few peoples spamming "Enemy sighted" for every unit in their field of view, and correctly reporting each class.

I find it a little stange that you could report 5-6 units under 5 seconds. And this going on for an entire round. I have found myself so annoyed by the voice over that i litteraly changed server quite often because of that reason.

Anybody know if there is a script/hack/whatever that does that ?

It's becuase they don't line up properly before pressing or not pressing right click on the spotted button to bring menu of units.

The last intentional TK I had was when one guy kept spotting a boat on Karkand.

I said "spot it again mother******!"

"enemy boat spotted"

*stabs him in head*
you were punished for a teamkill
*revives him*

"say it again, mother*****!"
"enemy boat spotted"

"say what again!"

We both started laughing, he stopped after that.

When I'm commander and did my scan sweep, i report as many units not in UAV distance to keep my teammates informed and aware about them. This can easily be 5 units in 3 seconds. Was it maybe the commander who spotted them?
And why are you so annoyed by the spotted radios? Don't they help YOU to find an enemy too, sometimes?

I can do quite a few when I run a scan. I only do them in the area where I have teammates though. Why spot a guy by himself with no one around? Unless he's a sniper. Then maybe I'll drop some arty on him to teach him a lesson. I usually go check his score first to see if he's doing any damage.

The thing that bothers me, is 90% of the time it seems no one looks at their radar. I will spot 3-4 guys by a flag, then a teammate will hop in a vehicle and take off to another flag. As commander I try to get their attention but it usually doesn't work.

This guy was being an assclown just sitting there spamming the radio. On top of that, I didn't even cost him a kill becasue I kept reviving him. . . all I did was lose a couple of points.

I like it when the commander spots troops that make sense, but all too often there is a commander that continually spots guys and does it over and over again. . . it can get rather annoying. It's great when it is needed, but it is very annoying when it is not needed and overused.

When I'm commander, which is admittedly seldom, I put a UAV up where one of my teams is headed, and then I spot any enemies that may be near some of my guys. I don't bother spotting people way out in the toolies that nobody's going to get to or even see on their minimap. When I'm a regular soldier, I'll spot armour or snipers, and then do my best to take them out if I have the means.

I like when commanders spam the radio - that IS their job after all.

Kids who call the same armour over and over can get annoying, but it defnitely does help your team having them pop up on the HUD.

I take people calling for armor over and over as a call for help. If i'm pinned down by a tank, there isnt much to do but spam the radio (within reason) and hope someone takes it out.

Sometimes I'll spam the radio if I am in trouble with enemy armor to see if anyone can help out. The other thing I will do is spot a helo/tank and watch for it on my radar, once the blinking red icon goes away on the radar I spot it again so that everyone has some idea of where it may have moved to if I still have a view at it.
