Talking of touch and go for planes, I was quite badly damaged last night so I landed the plane, this fool (who had tk me twice for a plane already) rammed my jet with a buggy full of C4 while I was repairing, what a arse. So even if we had to touch and go this thing would start to come to the front and be even more annoying than TK before you get to plane.

So the next round he was running for a plane just after restart, I did something not to proud of to be honest, but I lobbed a grenade at the plane over his head just as he got to the plane, it went off (trouble is I felt quite guilty after, as it tk 2 others) completely spoiled my evening playing and to be honest I was ready to throw BF2 in the bin.

Maybe if you TK you should be unable to access any vehical for the next 5 min. ??

There's a really simple solution to getting back at these assholes who wait for vehicles time and time again. Get your lazy ass in a jeep and drive that sucker right into the ******* who stole "your" vehicle. You cause the damage and explosion, but they get the TK. Problem solved and most of the time the nub will never try their **** again.

Way to give that person a chance there asshat - you are not the end all be all - hate to break that one to you there boss.

There are plenty of other better players no matter who you are. If someone beats you to the vehicle - so be it - fair game. Suck it up and do your job in game to get the win. Learn to be proficient at more than one vehicle/class/pilot etc. Be good and be versitile with more than one thing before you get picky you prick.

well, just my personal experience here... when you are the one standing at the jet/helo first, if someone comes over right next to you and not waiting off to the side for his turn, you know they are only there to jack your turn. it maybe be an *******'ish attitude here, but i have no problems with taking my knife out and stabbing their head as soon as they get next to me. if they manage to kill me before i do that to steal the jet, i spawn with the at kit (for jets) or some c4 (for the helos) and nuke them as they start taking off, then i ask them if it was still funny. i've been booted off of servers for that, but i can't blame the admins for it when they are not actually seeing what has led to that situation.

i don't really give two ****s about my stats, although my stats would give you the opposite impression, but i play the game with a "F.uck'em" type of attitude.

A simple soultion as requested would be;

Make the jet/ chopper respawn after 10 seconds where the pilots respawn after 15 [normal] anyone waiting gets to fly though this leaves a problem if you have more than 2 crews waiting.

If you're good then you whore your chopper/jet for a long time. If they suck then you really aren't waiting long for your next turn.

however again the sadness is playing allied 16 V 16 on Kubra and you have 5+ guys waiting on the tarmac for planes that have crews out getting owned because no one is on the ground.

This is 'combined arms' and the solution is being good and enjoying a few different roles or kits.

You control your satisfaction with the game and if it aint fun if your not flying then it might not be the best game for you.

Just get rid of the jets--they ruin the game anyway and you get one chance to pilot and/or be gunner in a chopper per round. Once you have flown and been a gunner once--NO CHOP FOR YOU-END OF THE LINE!!! LOL

or--

anyone who TKS on a landing pad/ runway--72 hr ban from ALL ranked servers and stats reset to zero-(if you are going to do it-- do it right, no messing around!!!!).

not sure about a ticket queue but -10 points punish if you Tk a player within range of a chopper plane etc like the flags radius to stop them killing you to get in the thing hate that too soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much.

I APC whore. With that being said, I ususally score in the top 3 on my team, and almost always score 1st among the APC drivers. If someone just happens to get to the APC before me on a re-spawn, I will usually TK them. The reason is they are usually a newbe and don't have a clue, or they are using the APC for transportation, and leave it stranded on the map so it won't re-spawn. If the person is not going to contribute to the sucess of the team using a jet, tank or APC then they need to stay out of it. Most people who really care, see that your the one for the vehical, and let you have it for the sake of the team effort. Those that don't get a shotgun to the head.
