i think they just copied a lot of the stuff DC did. for weapon kits that is...also if everyone had the same gun it would be boring too...on a side note i have been shot with the M95 while running so its possible to kill people with one shot from that gun.

Geez I wonder why???
The guys who made DC are now employed by Dice and helped make BF@.

I get alot more 1 shot kills with the M95. Prolly about 70% of the time.

Man, have people ever think if the support kit guns are highly accurate and powerful just like in real life, then there would be more sprayer than noob toobers.. Think about it, they can just start running and when they see you, they'll just jump and just spray and you will have no chance if its like the real gun.. and for the sniper, I think its you who can't snipe, cause I kill people in 2 hits only... unless if I miss

DICE definately wasnt trying too hard to be real...

they included a magical map that displays all the enemies on it..

I was in the service for 6 years.. 93'-99' , NEVER seen anything like that..

and I never saw a chopper take ground either..

LOL, i can snipe and shoot a Light Machine Gun with no problem. I don't know about you but when someone runs in point blank range in front of me and it takes only 1 shot to kill me with the Ak-101 or ak74u and i shoot well before hand and i realease 20 bullets before he has a chance to react and I DON'T ****ING MISS THAT CLOSE!! its makes it seems unrealistic. As for sniping.

BF2 dosen't even have the real effects for a sniper rifle. When you zoom in its just a still point and shoot. In freal life, unless your prone with a bipod that way you can only be still. I hate when my squad runs up to find snipers standing straight up and kill me with 1 headshot!!! Come on nobody can shoot like that with thier sights deads straight. I don't care who the **** you are. I would love to see you snipe in AA with thier sniper rifle from a far distance. Its very fat and your sights move aswell, so being a sniper in the military is never easy.

I really don't like the wepons kit for all sides. I'll list some things and put some points out.

1. Anti-tank: In the Real USMC Anti-Tank guys have regular M-16. My question why put a mp5, when all infantry uses standard rifles? Even terroist use ak-74 with RPG! Are there trying to be Fair or Real?

2. Engineer: For what i've observed, Engineer don't carry shotguns in the real battlefield, why give them a shotgun? My father was a engineer in the Army and he carried M-16, shotguns are used to breach doors etc.. Why give them things to only blow up vehicles?? I mean an Engineer is useless if it can't blow commander tools up?? Are there trying to be Fair or Real?

3. Support: For every side, there Automatic weapons are highly unrealistic. I don't know how many times, i've shot at least 20 bullets point blank range and have the enemy kill me with one shot. I know must SAW gunners like me feel my pain, i know when bullets hit, why else would smoke come from thier bodies??? Again, is EA trying to be Fair or Real?

4. Last but not least, Sniper: I've seen a basic sniper rifle from Wal-Mart shoot more than 500 hundred yards and break a pieice of wood in half. Why does it take most snipers, 3-6 shoots to kill one person?? Come on a .50 cal can shoot someone's whole leg off. I've survived more M95 rounds that its ****ing me off. EA most don't have thier priority straight. If you been in the military you know what a sniper can do!! I can understand from long ranges but lets be real here, 7 freakin shots from half over the maps and not kill anyone is insane. Belive me i tried it out with a friend of mine, it makes no sense but then again. Is EA trying to be Fair or Real?

ALL IN FARINESS and I really hope that people dont think this game is realistic :laugh:

They should give the squad leader the shotgun. All people except 0331s should have m16a2s. An assigned grenadier has the 203. There are no special forces in the marines, besides force recon. All iraqis/MEC have POS 50 yr old soviet weapons and no orginization. But thats just unbalanced. Not to say less fun though, EA needs to think of that. Also I was dissapointed that they had pretty much the same classes as DC.

Uhmm, DC > BF2. If we take account that DC was made by some guys on free time and BF2 on studios and for money.

its for fiar play because there cant be a superior class or else servers will start to have a limiit on classes...for example...day of defeat...sniper class owns all...thats why most servers have a 1-2 player limit for being a sniper

Well thats the way AA has it as well. AA is more real than this IMHO but i love the Planes, Helos, Tanks. Stuff you just can't do in AA
