About time prices went up in america, last time i was there it was like £10 ($15) for a hole tank! In england its been at 90p a litre ($1.45) for like 8 years, so stop complaining! About time to stop using those UNenviromental SUV's which blaze through Petrol, while the hummer H2 runs at like at most 5 miles to the gallon. At the mo there a shocking £1 ($1.60) a litre in some places!

The most expensive place for petrol in europe is holland, UK is the 2nd most expensive.

America is just cheap as hell for petrol. We all pay x10 more in europe.

Most Oil rpoducing countries are very cheap prices for gallons. They are government subsodized.

Examples March 2005 Gas Prices in other countries are:

The Lowest 5 are: (per gallon of reg. Unleaded gasoline)

Puerto Rico - $1.74
Saudi Arabia / Riyadh = $ .91
Kuwait / Kuwait City = $ .78
Egypt / Cairo = $ .65
Nigeria / Lagos = $ .38
Venezuela / Caracus = $ .12


The Highest 7 countries are:

Netherlands / Amsterdam = $ 6.48
Norway / Oslo = $ 6.27
Italy / Milan = $ 5.96
Denmark / Copenhagen = $ 5.93
Belgium = $ 5.91
Sweden = $ 5.80
United Kingdom = $ 5.79

Plus it's up to $8+ in some places due to panic buying!

Why are some people crying about they gotta pay $3.00 a gallon, if you look at the figures above at the UK and other places we've been paying this amount for ages. I think they should raise the petrol prices in America to stop people using as much fuel which destroys our atmosphere.
