make sure you got no refresh rate lockers running..
and id try reinstallin bf2 and other main drivers

If your problem seems to lie in the DVI/VGA change, I would say it has something to do with your resolution/refresh rate.

Try setting your video.con file to the lowest possible settings, and see if that helps at least get you into the game.

If/when you can get into the game, gradually increase your graphic settings until you are happy with the settings. One good way would be to reinstall BF2 (i know you did this 9x), and try it out with the DVI port. If this works, try plugging in your VGA adapter. If that doesn't work, then you it is certain that it is a resolution/refresh rate issue.

BTW, nice monitor...more of a TV, but to each their own

Well, with DVI I can runt the game at Max.
High and ultra (where avalible) everwhere, x4 AA and X-Fi running. So with that i know its not that the card can't handle it.

Now, I am indeed locking to the 59-60MHz refresh, due to the DLP system (any faster, the monitor displays faster than it recives or something.) Ill try some things with the Refresh rate, but its the same when DVi is running...
