Re: New v1.03 info
Blackhawk mini-guns toned down
Bad medicine friends, looking at DICE's track record for re-balancing a game this doesn't bode well at all. Nerfing one side or the other is always a bad idea IMO, I would have rather seen them beef up the 50s on the PLA and MEC transport helos rather then tone down the miniguns. Call me a pessimist but I can forsee the miniguns being nigh useless post-patch if they are indeed trying to "tone them down". Last time they toned something down in a BF game was in Vietnam, after that the jeeps ended up with a practically useless heat seeking rocket that took forever to reload and the Hueys ended up with the world's slowest firing rocket pod (yet real rocket pods can fire a whole volley in a couple seconds).
With this in mind I can see DICE giving the Blackhawk a rotatary barreled BB gun just satisfy the whiners who complain about Blackhawk whoring in Mashtuur (while us real players know that they aren't invincible).

. Worst case scenario would be that the mini-guns are nerfed to that extent. They will likely still be more powerful than the MEC and Chinese .50 cal guns.
