Did you go to the site? I put a link, read the caption at the bottom. I didnt see any fur and it wasnt walking on all fours. Watch the third one, you can see arms and a head. And yes a .50 could do that to a person, if it can do it to a goat then it can do it to a person. Those arent whole bodies flying through the air, theyre body parts.

Well I've seen a video of a guy getting his head cut off. Don't think the Geneva convention allows this behavior, but it was done anyways.
That's why it's called war. Some things are being done to others even though it is against every human right.
.50 cal is certainly not to be used against man targets. It's like using a stinger to shoot ducks.
Of course people "can" use it, and as we all know it's being done by US army forces...
Fact is, the M82 is not a rifle - its a cannon.

I am one hundred percent positive that you can use a .50 on a person. My buddy was a tank gunner before he came here, and he fired the main gun at an insurgent. The Geneva convention is based on common sense - if someone is trying to kill you, you have the right to kill them by ANY means necessary. Restrictions on what kind of weapon you can use to kill them are simply not real, and they wouldn't make sense in the first place.

If this is the Kosovo video of the guys killing the Russian soldier, or any of the Iraqi ones.... they do not recognize the Geneva convention.

Uh... It most certainly can, and is not illegal nor disallowed by any law of war.

It is simply a misunderstanding that had perpetuated into "lore" just as the belief that you can not shoot airborne troops while they are in the air. When in fact the only persons protected while doing this are pilots ejecting from a crippled aircraft.

This is the source of the video. The gun is not a .50 BMG, nor are the targets people.
