What is with this continuing crap about not being able to shoot someone with a 50 caliber sniper rifle? You think it's somehow illegal to shoot someone with a M2 machinegun? Where do you people get this crap. They can and have used 50 caliber sniper rifles to kill people. It's hardly any worse then many of the hundreds of other really devestating weapons used all over the world. Atleast this one would probably kill you before it wounds you. Then again, it's a big fat waste of a rifle. There are other more accurate weapons that arn't overkill, the only thing this gets you is range. And most of the time, the difference between 1000 meters and 1800 meters isn't something you really worry about.

Yes the 50 cal rifle can do that kind of damage, that's why it is illegal to use againt's people. It is consider to shoot vehicles and light armor vehicles

I'll be sure on my next tour in Iraq to inform the insurgents that the weapons we are using there are illegal. As many a barret has been used to shoot a person.

I have my doubts about this... I'm not really sure if .50 cal bullet has enough energy to rip and throw some 40-50 kilos of goat around like that. I really doubt it... If that was few kilos of meat or some bunnyhopper, then i could understand, but a goat? Nah...

I'm a hunter myself, and member of the army, but the people shooting at animals in this video are totally sick and need immediate counceling.
I can't understand why people shoot at animals just for the heck of it.
They mus thave extremly low self-esteem...

We have shot waterbarrels, and old roast beef, and this was plenty to simulate bullet impact on a body...
