I got the MX518 over the MX510. I love the new color, and the crater-look is amazing. Simply dumbfounding.

One of THE BEST features is the dpi-switch. Especially in BF2. I run around normally at 800dpi, switch down to 400dpi when sniping, and pop it up to 1200dpi when in a tank or something similar.

Highly recommended.

i went from a microsoft intellimouse to the mx510 too. at 1st it took a little getting used to because it is contoured differently. seems to work good enough for me.

I have the 510 and love it. By the way, have any of you 510 owners figured out how to map the buttons above/below the scroll wheel? I read the post about controls.con but couldn't figure it out.
