Vsync just sincronizes the refresh rate of the game iwth the refresh rate of the monitor exactly.
unless u have a damn good monitor direct 3d and opengl are better.

How the hell do you enable vsync for BF2? Once again, Dice got stupid and did not allow the gamers to control somethign as simple as that. Every other game i ahve played has a way to turn it on in-game. I really think they are against lcd users which are very common!
