Well end of august has come and gone, and no patch for BF2... Granted they at least notified us the patch was being "delayed" for Q&A etc... but still... urgh. I realise there are alot of bugs, but only a few really **** me off like the whole TK system... and Suicide counts, i mean yeh i've killed myself a few times, but everytime i disconnect from a game or switch teams to TRY BALANCE the crappy auto balance system... not to mention my squad being broken up numerous times to AutoBalance, NOT ANNOYING!
Anyways I decided at the begining of the week that I need something else to play while i wait for this patch cause these 'bugs' are really killing my interest in the game, so i was told to go check out WoW (World of WarCraft)... Pay $30 a month?!?!? Wtf is that crap... I dont mind paying $80-100 for a game once off, but $ every month to continue to play? This is one thing i congratulate EA on, is not charging us PER MONTH to play and have our stats saved. Anyways, so After seeing that I decided WoW was too childish and lacked the purdy graphic eyecandy that BF2 has... BF2 has spoilt me with its gfx and this makes it hard to find any other game that comes close, untill i was told by a guy at EB to check out Guild Wars. Holey crap this game has kik ass gfx, the environments are just insane.... Now for the record i have never played a RPG or MMORPG before cause like they suk nutz... However after buyin guild wars ($80 at EB) and installing it, logging in, i was amazed its actually rather fun. Nothing like BF2 or anything, but still its a good time waster till they fix up the crap with the bugs in BF2.
So the point of this thread... Have you gone and started to play any new games while waiting for BF2 patch?
