The major thing with the L85 is to NEVER use full auto. Even in CQB. Stay with single shot ALWAYS.

3-4 shots to the chest, 5 max, will take down anyone. And since they'll be circle strafing you, you just do the same thing and time your shots right.

I use the AK-101 over my L85A1 pretty much all the time.

Only unlocks I can see people not using is the Mk3A1 jackhammer, M95, and L85A1. All the others I think are better than the defaults.

ive sticked to me g36c since i unlocked it, no matter what side im in

thats because the g36c is the only unlock that is worth using.. all the others maybe besides the close range weapons are total crap.

recoil of the G3 is very well managable imho the most powerful unlock for overall combat efficiency in this game. You don't have the tube, but you'll get granades to compensate. I don't really like the granade launcher anyways (unless the tube is attached to the AK-101), I prefer to engage my opponents with bullets. I am more effective that way. I have also successfully defended myself against granade launchers many times due to the G3's massive stopping power, and their long reload time. IMO Any other weapon/kit-combination stands no chance against somebody who knows how to handle the G3. You can take down anybody with 3 shots from this weapon. That's why I suggest never to use full auto on moving or proning targets. also if the target is further away than 15 meters, try to fire in single shot mode.
However, if I'm on the MEC side, I'll chose the AK-101-GL loadout with the assault class over the G3. I'm a big fan of the 101/nade launcher because it has decent stopping power, a fast rate of fire, full auto mode, and nades for helos and ligh vehicles. I call it Rambo rifle because you can neutralize whole 6-man squads at once with this thing, or take down choppers - all alone :)

I unlocked the DAO-12 and i NEVER EVER use it, it sucks at long ranges it sucks at medium ranges and it also sucks most of the time on close range. The pp-19, mp5 and chinese thingy aint that good but are still better than my DAO.

The DAO is pretty useless at anything other than short range, but at short range it's deadly. Best CQC weapon in the game, and best value unlock as well (because the stock AT weapons suck at any range).

agreed I don't go back to the submachinegun that spreads like wildfire and eats bullets for breakfast. That thing takes a whole clip to kill someone due to its "Low" damage. The DOA is always the best choice and try using the pistol outside short range or be cool like me and rocket everyone :)
