The medic unlock - the only thing it's good for is medium range sniping, and if I wanted to snipe I wouldn't be playing medic. It was my first unlock. After I realised how much it sucked I made a new account and took the G3 instead.Comment

Although i don't have the PKM, i've gone to unranked global unlocks server, i don't like it as much as the SAW, but i like it better than the RPK, and the QBZ-97 mg, becuase the RPK fires too slow for the amount of dammage it does, and QBZ only has 100 rounds per belt too. BUt for the G36C i have, i nver go back, the scope ain't too good either, ironsights are fine, the scope is just an easier sight to use, it doesn't have any zoom capablities above the reg ironsights.Originally posted by 114m4*m4$73rComment

AK-101/GLauncher > my G3
recoil of the G3 is very well managable imho the most powerful unlock for overall combat efficiency in this game. You don't have the tube, but you'll get granades to compensate. I don't really like the granade launcher anyways (unless the tube is attached to the AK-101), I prefer to engage my opponents with bullets. I am more effective that way. I have also successfully defended myself against granade launchers many times due to the G3's massive stopping power, and their long reload time. IMO Any other weapon/kit-combination stands no chance against somebody who knows how to handle the G3. You can take down anybody with 3 shots from this weapon. That's why I suggest never to use full auto on moving or proning targets. also if the target is further away than 15 meters, try to fire in single shot mode.
However, if I'm on the MEC side, I'll chose the AK-101-GL loadout with the assault class over the G3. I'm a big fan of the 101/nade launcher because it has decent stopping power, a fast rate of fire, full auto mode, and nades for helos and ligh vehicles. I call it Rambo rifle because you can neutralize whole 6-man squads at once with this thing, or take down choppers - all alone :)Comment

I unlocked my M95, but I find too few chances to hit drivers in vehicles so I've gone back to the M24 (U.S. sniper rifle), because its 2x as accurate as the M95 (headshots much more frequently).Comment

Yeh same here. The Ak-101 and Ak 47 do more damage, so losing the scope really isn't that much of a big deal. Although I think the L85A1 is cool as f.. :)Originally posted by JarEmeComment

No.
I've unlocked the L85, and the M95.
After being annoyed as hell with my L85 for around a month or two, I finally got the hang of it. Right now, I can't play medic without it. I tried playing on an unranked server with no unlocks, and I just couldn't kill a thing. Plus, you have the ability to pick off snipers with ease. I seriously just SUCK without the L85...
As for the M95, it's less accurate than the M24, but I get used to it. It's made for medium or medium-long distance, not the INSANELY-LONG distance everyone's trying. Go with your squad, but before battle, go back a bit and grab some cover. Since crouch/prone doesn't matter, do whatever's most beneficial. Then pick them off. The sniper truly is a GODSEND when on MEC/China.

well the m4 i can at close range, becuase i went into a ranked server, and somehow it said i was a pvt, and had the m4, with in 5mins i had the basic spec ops badge lol, and it was at karkand between the two closest post...im better at long and short range battle with my g36c so i wont go backComment

I agree with Saladfork on the L85.. Its awesome in medium range combat and I´ve taken many a sniper down with it. When it comes down to close combat I often take my pistol out instead. It inflicts much more damage than the L85.
Next unlock I think I´ll make the PKM or the G36C, but I just hate it that 50% of the players on a server are usually playing spec ops already.Comment
