i know one person who is unaware of the sheer joy of spelling things out on walls w/ lmgs, shooting at birds, shooting bushes just in case there is somebody there and taking pot shots at jets. :laugh:

I shoot at jets ... even shot down one with ak101 once :)

accuracy % with LMG's means nothing tbh, if you are using it for suppressive fire then your % will be dire anyway. hrhr i have 17% i must be l33t .... not.

PKM is best unlock in the game. i have over 2000 kills with that thing. the accuracy and power is unbelievable. i have killed counless snipers with it.

I always spray the hell out of people in proned, zoomed mode. Screw bursts. I find that people panic when they see that PKM barrel light up at them and start jumping and moving erraticly, severly hurting their ability to hit you. I've had pretty decent luck with the gun. In infantry vs. infantry engagements, I usually come out on top with it.

i have unlocked the G3 and PKM and the PKM is very good and i was playing on a server with 2 other PKMS in same team and you can own streets and choppers move away fast.And rember every one needs ammo:)

I unlocked the Assault rifle (name?), is there anyway to lock it again and pick something else to unlock, or am I screwed until I get to 10,000?

Except that the RPK, SAW, etc. are figured into the Light Machine Gun category, so (BG) Patton is pretty far off from 2,000 kills with the PKM. Plus, 1.13 is a mediocre ratio for such an "amazing" gun.

You need to keep in mind that a K/D ratio statistic for an individual gun can be very decieving. I know most of my deaths when I'm playing infantry come from vehicles. While he may have a 1.13 kdr with the PKM, he may still own in infantry vs. infantry engagements.

Also, it's easy to call out other peoples stats without posting your own.

Except that being an effective player means not dying from vehicles all the time. You can't shoot infantry while you're dead.

He plays Support a lot more because he loves it. I play it occasionally, but only in the rare circumstances where the weapon is actually decent - either way, it's not as great a gun as everyone wants to think.
