c'mon guys. Have any of you ever rode co-pilot in one of these things?

It's really simple actually....

It aims where ever the gunner is aiming when he presses f (I think that's the deafult key) and switches over to his tv missle view.

And as far as I know it does, um...because I was playing a gunner today and operating it like so. Just try it once instead of jumping on some one....it'll make it easier on us all. lol

Wow, no.

It's the small box that floats up and down between the tow lines on either side of your view. That's where the TV guided box is lined up. The lines moving in towards the center of the pilots view are where the pilots missles will land.

The box at the very bottom is where the Helo's turret is pointing, that has nothing to do with TV guided missles.

im refering to this guy. the floating icon is used when trying to keep your helo hover.

It's the little thing that says gunner attack view at the bottom, i've said this many times, i've proven it too, just tell me how to get a screen shot, and i'll post it on here.

Nothing at all, you see it when you are hovering and completely level, and when your chopper is still on the ground, when you take off and start moving it moves to some edge of the screen and disappears., but then it reappears when you attempt to hover.

in the cobra the tv view is almost exactly on the pilots crosshair, or maybe a little bit under. so aim above the target slightly for him to hit it. same goes with the z-10. but the mi-28 is much lower than the crosshair so aim higher. the gunner view position just shows which way hes pointing the minigun. it has nothing to do with the tv missile

thanks, i knew there was a difference in all helos because i keep getting different angle adjustments from my gunner pilot all the time.

Are you sure, because the gun turret can move around and actually shoot like up on a carrier, you can take out the other helis on the carrier on a local server by yourself while you're still on ground. And also it never moves around, just stays there the whole time, the gunner always moves around his gun. And he can shoot sideways too, by simply turning the little turret that the gun is mounted on, i don't think that is for the gun turret, i think it's for the TV guided missile.

i just said that bar with the square moving side to side is for the GUN TURRET, not the TV missle since it doesnt move around.

oh i get it, so theres a seperate one that says gunner attack view?? does it have a crosshair and is it in a different position in every helo?

No, its the thing that is constantly at the bottom of your screen as a pilot, it says gunner attack view or something, the gunner always has to aim down for some reason, it's kinda wierd, just go create a local server and use the Cobra, you'll see, it doesn't move at all, it just stays at the bottom of the screen when you are piloting.

The gunners tv view is right in the middle, between the gunenrs view box, and the cross hair.

Not any of the crap above, you should always line your gunner up, as the missle cant turn to tightly close range.
