Attack helo: where does the TV aim in pilot view?

i know this may have been asked before but while im a pilot i still dont know where my co pilot aim is at for his TV missle and where i supposed to aim at to have the target inside the box for my co pilot.. i always used to think it was a inch below my crosshair but it seems wrong.

Not sure if I understand the question. Do you mean...where does the pilot have to aim for his gunner to see the target? You basically want to aim your nose towards the enemy.

There's a little thing at the bottom of the HUD or screen for the Attack Heli, it says gunner attack view or something, that's basically where the Tv missle goes, so although your crosshairs are on something, doesn't mean the gunner can hit it as well.

no no no.. all you guys have it wrong. For my TV (TOW) missle pilot to have a target right smack in the middle of his BOX, where do I have to have the target on my window then my gunner pilot has a better chance of hitting the target rather than trying to move the target in his box. Then all he has to do is fire and hardly move the missle...

There's a little thing at the bottom of the HUD or screen for the Attack Heli, it says gunner attack view or something, that's basically where the Tv missle goes, so although your crosshairs are on something, doesn't mean the gunner can hit it as well.

i Already know about that bar with a box that moves right to left. that one just shows where my co pilot is viewing OUTSIDE his TV missle view. Im talking about when hes in TV missle view where does the box aim at? IT seems to me it aims downward

What i do is just put my noseup, or you can just be gunner for a while to get the feel for where they are looking so later when you are pilot you will know.

No, its the thing that is constantly at the bottom of your screen as a pilot, it says gunner attack view or something, the gunner always has to aim down for some reason, it's kinda wierd, just go create a local server and use the Cobra, you'll see, it doesn't move at all, it just stays at the bottom of the screen when you are piloting.

Aim your crosshair directly at the target, simple.

No, its the thing that is constantly at the bottom of your screen as a pilot, it says gunner attack view or something, the gunner always has to aim down for some reason, it's kinda wierd, just go create a local server and use the Cobra, you'll see, it doesn't move at all, it just stays at the bottom of the screen when you are piloting.

Wow, no.

It's the small box that floats up and down between the tow lines on either side of your view. That's where the TV guided box is lined up. The lines moving in towards the center of the pilots view are where the pilots missles will land.

The box at the very bottom is where the Helo's turret is pointing, that has nothing to do with TV guided missles.

even better get on like teamspeak or voip and your gunner will say nose up nose down left right hover there boss its that simple

Aim your crosshair directly at the target, simple.

It's a bit under where your crosshair is, it's at the bottom of the HUD or whatever on the heli, just above where yu can see all gauges (that don't work) and stuff like that.

c'mon guys. Have any of you ever rode co-pilot in one of these things?

It's really simple actually....

It aims where ever the gunner is aiming when he presses f (I think that's the deafult key) and switches over to his tv missle view.
