Picking up an opponent's kit will change your uniform and your weapons, but not your tag color.

Would be kind of funny if when you took someone's kit you also took their name tag (while you have their kit). Hehehehe.

Are you sure? I think you just pick up the weapon and not the uniform... otherwise that would be too confusing.

I've been in a game where my tag is red, I didn't do anything in particular just logged in and I had a red tag from the start.

At first I thought all my teammates were a$sholes on some team killing mission until one of the guys apologized and told me my tag was red... logged out quickly after that.

Yup, it happens. Actually, I was once on a server where it was happening abnormally often. Happened to me twice in one round on that server, and I saw lots of other strange teamkill incidents. It may have had to do with the fact that the server was on a 15x repeat rotation (of Karkand).

Ever since that game, I go by uniform (which don't change). That's better anyways in the long run.

This happens alot to me and i think i figured out why in game -An enemy drives a vehicle somewhere then dumps it. A teammate gets in it who was on the other team but is now on yours.

So if you gets bombs dropped on ya before you punish the guy, it might be for this reason. Don't be a noob forgive!

Problem is, Forgiving does nothing, you still get that Negative added to your score

This is not rare for me. Enemy in blue(never green though), team member in red.

Once an APC with blue name was shooting at our squad, i was sure the bug happened again. So i killed it. After that, the game said i was punished for a tk. but at the end of the round, the punishment and tk was not accounted for.

i was once playing and a guy was supposively on my team, but his name appeared red and when I held down 'tab' it showed he was on the other team. i kept killing him for a while and all that would show up is 'Dont hurt your team mates' but it would never say 'King_Nesto [Teamkill] XXXXX]'... it was weird cause he was a medic and all he was doin throughout the game was running up to everyone and droppin packs.

Was waiting for a chopper (MEC), on Sharqi.

I spot a guy close to me, with red tag (but he had MEC uniform, so I was confused). Shot him. Got punished. TAB shows he's on another team.

He spawns again, I don't kill him (we had a chat after I shot him, and text was showing in red as well). He says he's in my squad. I jump in the chopper. He jumps in the chopper as gunner.

I see 2 green squares in the chopper.

Guy was in my squad, and I could see him as green while he was in a chopper, but I couldn't see him in my squad/team list.

Fre minutes later the map ends, game restarts, and he shows properly in our team (and my squad).

He wasn't picking up enemy kit, so that's probably not the real reason for the bug.

But it happens. I haven't seen it until 2 days ago. Then I saw it twice.
