Yep, well its in the title

Has this happened to you guys before? I thas happened to me a few times, a member of my team was Red and he was sitting there sniping, so i went and knifed him and then says this

"You killed (name)"
"You were punished for a teamkill"

Any of you guys had this problem

It's a common bug, never happened to me, but various reports of happening to others, don't worry, you're not alone.

EDIT: Hey, another guy that has the smoking pot thing in their signiture.

I haven't had this problem in v1.02. Then again, I go by uniform now and not the colour of the name.

I've never had it happen to me for the longest time, but recently it won't stop happening.

It is common. I've been told that whoever is showing up as the wrong team should log off and back in.

It's happened to me several times, so I now go by color of uniform, as much as possible.

Just rejoining the game will work. It's a bug that's created when the server force-switches someone's team. It will be fixed after the round change (unless the server switches more people...).

I thought I read here once that it happens if a teammate picks up an opponent's kit.

Confirmation???

Picking up an opponent's kit will change your uniform and your weapons, but not your tag color.

Would be kind of funny if when you took someone's kit you also took their name tag (while you have their kit). Hehehehe.

Hi, well to me is the inverse problem, the enemys appearing as blue (not all of them but sometimes 1 or 3).

The other night in China vs USA (playing as China) I was protecting a flag and I see a Red one and I blasted away... he was Usa but in my screen keep flashing a warning "do not shoot your team mates!", this repeat for 3 or 4 times, the most rare thing was that HE was spawning on the China Flag but was on the other team.

So.... Flying Vortex, you`re not alone.

I have had this happen before.Also when flying I have had the hud give me a ground target that turns out to be a team mate on AA.But it still lights them up as enemy and right after thatr i get a you have been punished for a team kill.

Yeh its damn annoying, and im wondering, if only a few people see him as Red or whatever colour, or maybe its everyone?

This happens alot to me and i think i figured out why in game -An enemy drives a vehicle somewhere then dumps it. A teammate gets in it who was on the other team but is now on yours.

So if you gets bombs dropped on ya before you punish the guy, it might be for this reason. Don't be a noob forgive!

The hos at EA say they will fix it.... Lets hope so.
