now honestly. the m95 is a love-hate weapon. Some of you hate the enfield too. I mean I tried to use the bullet drop and you wont believe it: it works. In addition there is to say that this gun delivers a new element to this game: shooting some PRlCKS out of the damn chopper. I mean it's fun. When some dudes want to start flyin and you shoot the pilot first, then wait for the co -pilot to switch places and then cut off his head with the m95 too. This is one of many great aspect of this gun. I love it.

The sniper is the worst kit in the game right now. They can't gain teamwork points via kit usage(like engy, medic, and support), they have claymores but due to smacktarded teammates these things are little more than TK bait, and their primary weapons are unbelieveably neutered.

They can't see much past 100m, the damage is laughable at times(especially in the case of the maligned M95), and the accuracy is pretty bad.

EA didn't want Bf2 to turn into Sniper Wars, and I respect that, but I think in all fairness, snipers should get the following:

A 50% range increase across the board.(Add an additional zoom, so like 1x, 6x, 9x)
Moderate accuracy increase for bolt-action rifles.
Replace the M95 with the PSG-1 or M40A1.

Replacing the M95 with a M40 would be a huge downgrade, they used those in the Vietnam wars, they are replaced by the M24 now, so although those two rifles are real similar, they don't have too many interchangable parts and stuff like that. And a PSG-1, that'll be like the next AWP, although it ain't a one shot kill, it would be like this, it has 10 rounds, it does the damage of an SVD, but it has the accuracy of the M24, because the PSG-1 is like the most accurate semi-auto sniper rifle ever invented, although it would be kool to have it, it would totaly unbalance.

As I said it wasnt my aim the crosshair was between his eyes and even with the alledged "bullit drop" it still would have hit him.

Ok so my weapons skills suck do they lol,well when I'm on foot I'm usually sneaking about as spec ops and 9 times out of ten I'll get shot in the back or find myself against multiple targets.

In a one on one shoot out 7 times out of ten I'll get the kill with the carbine.

Another thing is the amount of time ive spent playing as certain charactors this is really the reason why my kill death ratio per gun is so bad.

And if I can find a more effective weapon available then I'll take that and keep my feet dry thanks very much.

To end on ........ when you have played 500+ hours then come and talk to me about how to play the game then I'll give you some credit and actually listen to your mumbling.

and hey guess what despite your 513 hours played and obviously impressive chopper/tank w*oring playstyle my score/hour ratio is still higher than yours, seeing how i spend 75% of my time as sniper... OH HEY and guess what gun i use!

lastly, pls dont take me seriously. despite me having a higher score/time ratio than you i'll gladly grovel before your greatness, for it will be my dying shame to know that i could not get 21 days worth of play time out of the past 2months playing bf2 like you.

Your sniper rifle kill death ratio is less than 2 to 1 meaning your very very poor sniper, where as mine is just over 3 to 1 nuff said about that.

I also notice how many times you have been knifed lol a sure sign of a poor sniper.

And as for the rest of your weapon stats they are as poor as mine and yet you had the nerve to bring mine into question lol.

Your global kill death ratio is little over 1 to 1 and the rest of your stats are poor verging on very poor lol.

Now **** off noob and learn how to play.

Ive made a video showing the Bullet drop effect of the M95. The shot is around 400 meters using the 3d map.

There are 2 versions, one normal speed and one slow motion.

There is one thing you guys are forgeting...

DRAG!!!

The moment a bullet leaves the barel, it is losing energy at an EXTREMELY high rate...

Shooting someone in the chest with a .50 at 100 feet (30M) should be 1 shot kill... No matter what kit...

But shooting someone from 100M (328 feet) should be 1 shot kill for light armor ( medic , sniper , and so on ) but not 1 shot kill for heavy armor kits...

A chest shot at 300M (984 feet) should be 2 shot kill for every kit, even medium armor... but 1 shot for light armor...

And longer range then that, there should be 2 or 3 shots to kill someone...

dont forget the bullet is slowing down FAST!!!

Also, you guys may think you know, but you dont...
There is NO bullet travel in this game... NONE AT ALL... Only with tank shells and APC sheels, and other "SHELLS" for large guns... and rockets...

NO machine guns, rifles, pistols have ANY travel time...
They also do not have any bullet drop AT ALL!!!

This game (not simulation) is completely unrealistic... They NEED to have bullet drop and travel time for ALL WEAPONS!!!
Like delta force had...

If you THINK there is travel time for your rifle, you are seeing ping lag.... THAT IS ALL!!! it is only lag... there is no TRAVEL Time AT ALL!!!

just point your weapon EXACTLY on the target and it will hit more often...

NO NOT!!!, i repeat, DO NOT TRY TO LEAD YOUR TARGET!!!

Only when in a vehicle firing large shells and rockets, do you need to lead...

Its really sad that DICE did not include travel and leading... makes the game so much more enjoyable...

REMEMBER!!! this is NOT a simulation...

Hate to break it to you , but there is infact travel time on ALL guns. There is also large bullet drop on the M95, and slight bullet drop on all other guns.

Yeah, if there wasn't bullet travel time on guns, it would be sniper heaven. Or maybe spec ops heaven, or L85 heaven, yeah, you get what i'm sayin.
