haven't read the whole topic down, but I like the M95!! I think it's acurate enough.

But on maps like karkand, where there are no choppers, and on US side, I use the M24.
The scope is better, and the reload animation is much better

A headshot with M95 is a kill.

Read Zagashi's post, you would know its not the rifles, its people who use them.

That is fine, people who don't believe sniper rifles are accurate can keep on believing it. We true sniping believers can keep on enjoying ourselves~ =)

a head shot with any rifle is a kill you idiot its just the m95 stresses very high damage which doesnt do that much more but the accuracy u give up compared to using the m24 just isnt worth it

Well heres my analyze of the m95, it was my first unlock and like most of you I hated it, its accuracy towards long distances was sucky. But i started to use it last night as infantry rather then just playing a hide and go seek sniper. It it performed really well. We all know that the m24 is for really long shots and the m95 can only medium range shots. This gun is extremely powerful. I just started running around and the nearest guy i saw i just prone quick and one shot it was over. Keep your distances but dont be to distance. And this weapon will serve you well.

Not true, the M95 is just as capable at long range shots as the M24, and are both perfectly accurate to way beyond your view distance, the deviation doesnt take effect until way beyond your maximum view distance, and therefor has no effect on its accuracy. The reason so many people cant hit long range targets is because they dont know how to use the rifle. At long range, the M95 has quite a substantial amount of bullet drop, and therefore you must aim above your target for a hit(thats why they gave you all those usefull markers on the crosshair, their there to be used). Many people dont know this, and simply put the target in the center of the crosshair all the time, and always end up missing, and then go on online forums and complain. I should really make a video on how to properly use the M95, because by the looks of things, very few people know how to correctly use the rifle(which in my opinions is one of the best unlocks.)

If they dont change the damage, is a good idea to change the scope zoom setting thingy Hope EA can giv us a 9-24X illumated crosshair inside with range finder and bullet drop graph

all I want is EA spent more time to made the sight on all gun, they are all cheap made compare to Call of Duty

Yeah, a headshot is triple the normal damage, any weapon with over 33 damage gets a 1shot head shot kill. And for all people saying that the M95's accuracy is as good as the M24, or worse than the SVD or anything here: http://www.after-hourz.com/forum/ind...=0&#entry75913
Look at the top of the page, it shows the weapons chart, it's shows that the dev mode when scoped is .02, the same as the SVD and Type 88, the M24 has .01, but the M95 has less max recoil officially making it more accurate than the semis, and less accurate than the M24. So it's not that bad considering it ignores body armor.

yea i dont understand how the m95 can take out a blackhawk which is a chunk of steel while not kill someoen in one hit and its accuracy is terrible

WTH? are you guys talking about have you ever shot a 50cal??? it's not a gun that you pick up and hit a target so easy. The m95 in the game is bad @$$ I just got it from a dead guy and was killing people left and right.

Think about how ppl using other kits must feel. Like the support guys. They carry a friggin M249 SAW and can't hit the broadside of a barn unless prone and even then it sux.. IRL it's deadly accurate, has low recoil and will blow you into the next millenium.. I think every kit in this game makes some sacrifice. Every time I see the chinese AT-kit submachinegun I laugh. It's like: OMG there are actually bullets coming out of this toy!! :p

The sniper is the worst kit in the game right now. They can't gain teamwork points via kit usage(like engy, medic, and support), they have claymores but due to smacktarded teammates these things are little more than TK bait, and their primary weapons are unbelieveably neutered.

They can't see much past 100m, the damage is laughable at times(especially in the case of the maligned M95), and the accuracy is pretty bad.

EA didn't want Bf2 to turn into Sniper Wars, and I respect that, but I think in all fairness, snipers should get the following:

A 50% range increase across the board.(Add an additional zoom, so like 1x, 6x, 9x)
Moderate accuracy increase for bolt-action rifles.
Replace the M95 with the PSG-1 or M40A1.
