Mate, don't get alienware. You are paying a lot of money, just for the brand name. You can find a FAAAAAAR better one for FAAAAAAAAR less at www.meshcomputers.com. Trust me..

I have to agree, i think you are payng to much for the brand. Do you have any experience in building your own computer. it isn't that hard really and you get an awesome comp for FAR less money.

i dont know any computer stores for queensland, you should know some, just find what you want for the cheapest prices you might have to go to different stores. but if you get alienware make sure you configure it and dont get anything you dont need, and it will take like a month to arrive

shop around to get the best price on things. usually if you spend more then $500 at some places they will send it to you for free.

If you build it yourself, just buy some thermal paste for the cpu. It will come with a fan or you can get it without and buy your own. Clean the cpu and fan with something, then smear a THIN film across the cpu. wipe that off then repeat and leave in on this time. the instructions that come with the cpu should tell yo how to attach the fan to mboard.

CPU isn't hard to install.....lift lever.....drop in CPU....close lever.

You could probably make a PC with same specs as an alienware for about $2000 USD less.
