are you sure you are measuring your fps, not your CPU usage?
I have the 9800 pro = all settings low or off
and get 45 fps when lucky
rest of system is just fine
I am measuring using FRAPS so I am quite sure I am getting the correct readings and not the CPU ussage. My system was already well tuned and optimized for gaming before tweaking it for BF2.

The results you saw me post from the FRAPS Log are the best I could sustain during normal game play after days of tweaking and testing. In other words, the game didn't play that well straight out of the box. I had to work at finding the right settings and system optimizations for my specific system.

well - I have read TONS about system tweaks
but have always been afraid to try
(I also use this system for work stuff at home)
I am VERY PC literate, so perhaps you can give some advice (as you seemed to have been successful - as opposed to the generic guides posted around here)
