Re: A Humble "Chopper Whore" Responds

Good point ColonGlock, i forgot about the AA vehicles. Actually if every map had the AA tanks then that would also solve the problem instantly, those guns are great against the BH's if you can catch them, but very few maps seem to have AA vehicles, its a shame.

I know what you mean about how vunerable that seat is, you cant even duck like the tanks, i think one of them has a nice big radar dish that protects your front as a small bonus though.

You say just pick up an AT kit ... they are ussually not at my feet !!!
You say shoot it with a Tank... Im not ussually in a tank...

I dont really care about BH whores... i ussaully just shoot them down if i can... and if not... I just hide... They go away... I take back the flag and get 2 more points... BH people are ussually idiots...

Yes that includes you (original poster) Take a flag, then just leave without any defence... You score points for yourselves... but do not help your team AT ALL.... Big, selfish, waste of time...

But thats fine with me... i will just rack up the Flag neutralize and capture points .... Your BH means nothing, unless you leave at least one guy behind to defend it...

      Have fun
Wow someone is a bit of a sore loser here.....

I rarely get killed by the Blackhawk when i'm playing Mashtuur as MEC. You just have to play smart, would you try to fight a tank if you were a support guy? No, so why try to challenge the blackhawk if your not AT or in a vehicle that can damage it. Take a position where you can fight other ground troops and not get hit by the blackhawk.

Sorry but you must have never played in the blackhawk because you have no clue what your talking about. Its not as simple as most of you sore sports make it seem. A good blackhawk squad needs to communicate to spot targets on the ground and a good pilot to give the gunners good position to hit those targets. These days there are so many people trying to take down the blackhawk that its an adventure. You go near a flag and you've got your lock buzzer going almost non stop because there are 5 AT guys firing at you along with assault guys shooting into the rear cabin and humvee's and MEC trucks firing .50 cals.

If your pilot doesn't know what height to hover at and isn't talking to the gunners so he can turn the chopper for position on targets you'll go down quick. You also have to look out for the two stinger sites on the far ends of the map. Most morons go flying way up and float down to flags, this just makes you an easy target for the AA. Also if you have crappy gunners you'll also be taken down because they either can't hit targets, can't prioritize targets, or won't talk to the pilot so they can get better position on targets.

Yes the most boring part of a BH squad are the engineers but not always, half the time these days they're getting shot out of the rear by support guns, .50 cals, snipers, and M203's. So now instead of just turning the wrench they actually have to fire their shotguns at low altitude to defend themselves if they can.

It takes alot of teamwork and you guys are just whining because someone has a better position on you and now your dead. Must be the same people who cry about "tank whores"... WTF is that??? You want the tanks to avoid infantry completely? Just watch you run by and stick C4 on the back?????

Close, but no cigar: it takes a good gunner, and a good pilot and the BH is completely useless. Oh, BHs are my favourite TV guided targets. You know the punchline? On some maps like Dragon Valley, you can actually shoot a BH down, wait for 20 seconds, and fire another missile towards the american base from half-level-across and score a hit again, usually when everybody has boarded and the chopper is about to fly off......
Yesterday I did it twice, and of course I was called a cheater, cos I can shoot targets I can't see (but I know their location) with TV guided. Lol.

                All that thread starter said
As said, its harder and more imitading to BH pilot to hover around when he got lead and rockets flying all over him.

                Amen my brotha.
