Also i notice how amusing it is that almost everybody saying its vaild have MUCH MUCH more time as USA then the other 2 sides, and many have excessive heli use as well, i wonder why they dont get bored with having to defend against black hawks all round

I also love the fact the some maps that have a BH, have a cappable enemy airfield as well so the MEC have little or no airdefense unless they take it back, how does your "defend flags against BH's" policy sit with having to leave and go to another base as well??

Think what would happen if everyone played like this, all for themselves you alreay see the BH crew often TK on the pad if someone else dares to get near (and i quote) "thats my BH, get out of it, im flying"

I have yet to see a BH whore who can actually shoot a gun or take a flag on the ground :laugh:

and just for your reference, as many people are annoyed with it on the SAME TEAM, why? because the team with these tactics almost always lose.

Thats why most people are annoyed not becuase it kills them, but because it takes a fun, balanced game and makes it boring, the enemy spend all map just taking flags back and not being able to leave the base for 2 minutes. and the USCM have to sit there and watch 6 players get 200+ points and LOSE the game by 100+ flags.

Seriously how often does this tactic win the for the TEAM, hardly ever.

You own. This is exactly what the problem is when it comes to "copter whores". There is a simple solution to the problem. Remove the ablity to take flags in vehicles. This includes helicopters, tanks, apcs, and road vehicles. With this fix, the infantry are a more viable class, which means you'll instead see infantry parachuting out of the blackhawk to cap the flag (and then probly getting picked back up in the blackhawk) but this at least gives a few more valuable seconds to "stop them".

I agree with you completely, I find taking down Bh not too hard, although a fun challenge. You dont have to be anti-tank, or in any vehicle, I like using assault and a good assault player can easily take down a hovering BH on his own. The best bit if firing right at the engineers sitting in the back and seeing four of them fall out. to take down a BH quickly requires not more that two good players and people moan far too much about it being to hard.

There's a reason that EA/Dice allowed points to be taken by vehicles. I find that you are the most vulnerable when you are trying to take a point in a vehicle, even a tank. Loading a chopper with 6 people and getting points is well deserved as far as I'm concerned. It's team work and finally team work is being rewarded as opposed to all the stupid "look, i'm hopping like a moron and you can't shoot me, hahaha" idiots.

i dont play maps with BH whores on it because they dont have the balls to pop out of the chopper and fight. it was a good thing EA took out the drop ropes, cuz they wouldnt be used anyway.

well tbh guys, let people play the game how they want. As long as it doesnt involve hacking im all for people playing in tanks or black hawks.

At the end of the day i enjoy the challenge of finding better ways of eliminating such targets. Also teamwork prevails in instances of BH capping flags etc, and i like the teamwork aspect of the game.

I mean when i first started playing BF2 i was dismayed at how i couldnt hit a sodding thing, but after a little practice i got much better. Same for BH ripping me to shreads, i worked on it looked at wht other people suggested on forums and put it into practice and all in all it works fine.

Wow Teaves 4 responses to 1 thread.....that makes you a thread whore........and this rambling is coming from a staff sergeant? Call a waaaaa-bulance. I'm sure you "whored or exploited" something at some point to get where your at in ranks. Everyone "whores" something. If it be by tank, jeep, or any other vehicle. Stop flooding this forum and any others with your narrow minded views. So let me ask you this if I'm an effective sniper (for all the staff sergeants who feel violated) meaning I get tops on server leader board...am I a sniper whore? Just because you haven't figured out how to take out the black hawk (whatever whoring way you do things) don't label the pilots as cheats or exploiters. And any vehicle is as effective as the skills of its operator. So apparently you've been owned by a black hawk and is still bitter. And guess what skittles...if they change the game as far as "point whoring" I will adapt. I will try to get the gold on all servers for me and and my clan. Weather it be by a copter or a jet or any other means available. And as far as having no real combat ability...you fear what you don't understand.

Also try reading the posts instead of having a generic reply ready, not even a good one. i CAN take down BH i can also whore them, its boring and almost always means the USCM team LOSES because of the flag hopers.

i dont belive you, you are saying you took 70 flags off them in the same time they only took 10 off you. You are either mistaken on the scores or have proved the point of how unbalanced they are better then i could. So what your saying is that after a game of combat where the other team clearly outclassed you, you could then win that same game simply by getting into a BH, wow that is fair then.


For all the other, more honest supporters of BH whoring please respond with your thoughts on people that act as i stated above, bluetacking the mouse button down as an engineer and then leaving the P.C. Please correlate that to teamwork.

BasherTarr - let me make it easier for you, when people talk about BH WHORING they are talking about loading a BH with:

2X support of miniguns
1X medic flying
3X engineers in back - doing NOTHING but repairing and dropping mines (even sometimes to the extent of being able to leave the PC unattended by sticking down the fire button with the spanner out)

Now this means the pilot will heal anyone being wounded, the resupply guys reloading engineers mines so they can simply drop them on the top of enemy Tanks and APC's.

In case you also didnt know the helicopters can still cap the flags in less then 5 seconds, while staying ABOVE the tanks and APC's turret elevation and staying far enough from the pole to not having to worry about the C4 trick.

You can still shoot them with hand weapons and jeeps of course, but again to define BH whores for you, it very simply to make one rotation of the flag, killing ANYTHING that can hurt you, then cap the flag instantly and fly off before they can respawn.

If you do get badly damaged (because you make a mistake) or a crew member gets killed, then simply fly off at full speed to the map border (away from flags and enemy) and wait for them to respawn and repair you.

Any flag that there is significant return fire, ignore it and fly to an undefended flag and take it

Repeat to infinity, 6 people will have lots of points and almost always LOSE the game as the flags are taken back quickly.

To clarify AGAIN BasherTarr, no-one is bothered by the BH per say, its the "BH Whoring" as i explain above that botheres everyone. and DICE are rectifying the situation at the patch (e.g. they agree)

You can spot them yourselves in game easily they will not only spend the WHOLE MAP in the BH, but will do the same thing, map after map, after map, after map.......
