i like the system, just not the idiots who punish for no good reason.

They should change that if u dont press anything within time it auto punishes. Should be that it doesnt punish.

I thought it only kicked you if you were punished. When your are forgiven you loose points but it doesn't go against your tk total on the server.
My point is that the problem of TK greifers can be taken care of with such a system without any need for a punish system at all. It's really just another tool tards can use greif and it's completely unesecary.

As for your second comment; I'm not sure how it works exactly but for our server from BF2CC I have a sliding bar which says "# of TKs before kick". We've had some of our own members auto kicked before and they hadn't even realised that they'd been TKing at all. Probably because no one punished them (mindless punishing gets you kicked on our server so most people have learnt). For these reasons I don't think it matters if they punish or not, you'll get kicked once you reach the TK limit.

Why did you become angry if you got -8 points? Its a known procedure nowadays. Just smile if you get only -4 .

Ya i use bf2cc for our server as well. Nice little program must say too. Well if anyone knows how that works for the punish/forgive thing please let me know. If you forgive someone does it count as a tk on the server auto kick??:)

It's pretty clear that currently intentional TKers don;t give a damn about their score, so the system is kinda pointless. However if theres too little of a penalty, then normally good boys would probably become complete asses the second anyone ****es them off.

I voted scrap it...nice idea, but far TOO many people out there that auto-punish...

I fly alot, and get some wierd TK's at times -- waste a tank, kill the driver, then as mr. infantry runs past it, it blows up and I get a tk - and 90% of the time punished, even though the nub had no idea how he got tk'd... And to think I forgive 90% of the time myself....
