TK punish, yes or no

Ahhh, I hate people who punish for the fun of it, i was just in the USMC carrier AA gun on GOA. And i was locked onto a jet, i started letting the rockets fly when a chopper takes off ull of people, obviously i thought because i was locked it wouldn't matter...But no, nearly oll of the missiles propbably hit the friendly chopper becasue it blew up before it had a chance to take off, i mean cmon EA, do they even know what lock on means?

And of course i had to be punished for my traitor acts...

I was then kicked for tk'ing. Im sick of this TK punish option, i reckon that all tks should be -2 points and thats it, wether it was accident or not, and EA gets rid of this noobish thrill called punish.

ahhhh damn it. I was reading ur post rubbing my hands with glee at the amount i could flame you. But u had to add the above line at the end of your pointless message. grrr

Anyways, my answer and its truely an original one (its not like ive answered any of the other tens of thousands of threads on the same topic).

Try playing on servers where they have the punish option disabled. Alternativly you could post more threads about this topic when u get punished and banned from another server, seeing as it must help ur fragile state of mind doing so.

Btw i know i contradicted myself in this thread but i came to realise that flaming helps me vent. Similar to you posting threads that have been discussed to fkin death. I think even the ancient Tibetan monks posted threads about this in 1055 bc.

TK system is rubbish. For instance, if you accidentally kill own vehicle bombs you get -4 points AND -4 teamwork.. You get -4 teamwork for team vehicle damage (2 times -2) and -4 for killing teammate inside the vehicle. One single misplaced hit will cost you a lot. Same with shotgun, that's -8 points...

Edit: And why this game has forgive option that forgives nothing...

it wil be better with the 1.3 patch

you dont always get -8 per teamkill, this only happens if you bomb a vehicle and it doesnt blow up straight away, giving you -2, then it does blow up seconds later giving you an extra -4. thats if theres only 1 person in it. if theres 3, 4, 5 people in it, you got a bigger problem on your hands. very rarely if not ever do i get -8 for one teamkill. lesson learned is dont bomb your own vehicles

I refrained from commenting before but this time i would like to say that it was probably put in for a good reason. Imagine playing on a server where you get pushed back to one base. You have some silly child or disgruntled teen who wants to make everyones life a living nightmare. There are no admins on the server. Bang Bang Bang Bang. TKing like crazy and no way to get him off the server. So what do you do after that. You get ****ed off and write EA a hate letter for making a stupid gmae where you can't kick TKers.

Basically this is one of those things. Damned if you do.... you know the rest. :)

No. The admins set their server so that if you TK x number of times in y number of minutes you get auto kicked. No need to bring a punish system into play at all.

I realize the admins can set the server to compensate for multiple tk's :)

I thought it only kicked you if you were punished. When your are forgiven you loose points but it doesn't go against your tk total on the server.

I think the TK system, although rough is necessary.
True it needs refined and tweeked, but in nearly every game I've played your gonna get the muppets who tk for fun. The forgiveness option is good, you have the choice of forgiving a fellow team mate if YOU think it was necessary.

But I think forgiveness should mean no point loss at all.

Try this .......2 apc's and a tank capping a flag, your sneaking up with your C4 making like a bush, you set your charges and your with-drawing to a safe distance, when fly boy comes in at mach 2.....Boom takes out the convoy and you, he doesnt know your there, he saves the flag and wipes out alot of armour......punish him I dont think so, pilots a hero.

I think the option of forgive / punish should be totally in the hands of the guy TKed, if he forgives no points should be lost at all. A hidden record of TK's should be kept and if you TK like 7 times in 1 round then it should go to a team vote if the player gets kicked or maybe the squad leaders and commander make the decision.

Tk's from missle's needs sorted, been shot down and have shot down friendlys while in missle lock, out of my control so why punish me ?

I could go on, cause I've got auto kicked from servers, (fly alot) if theres 2 apcs on a flag with 1-2 team mates near (its a lottery) im dropping them sry guys you'd probabaly got fragged anyway.

a jet crashed into my full transport helicopter and i got 5 tk's and they all punished...now thats just ****es me off
