Okay, I just got done looking through UBAR (Unofficial BF2 Awards and Ranks) and I noticed that I've gotten most of the Basic awards. Huzzah.
Now I've focused my sights on something a bit bigger, say, Veteran Special Ops and maybe another medal of some sort. I'm not gonna bother with the Purple Heart, since that pretty much just proves you suck. So browsing through the UBAR page of Medals I notice that for all of them you pretty much need a MINIMUM of 3000 global hours as that specific kit or whatev. Now then, lets do some math:
3000 hours / 24 hours = 125 days
125 days / 365 days (1 year) = .342, or 34.2% of the year
What does this say ladies and gentlemen? It is saying that you need to game as one SPECIFIC kit for over a third of the year before you can achieve a medal of some prestige.
Now, am I the only one here who finds that extremely F*ed up??????
