Battlefield 2: Splinter Cell

Well after watching this new BF2SF vid, im disgusted. I really dont know what EA thinks SF are, but right now it looks like splinter cell. My dad is In the green berets, and from the stuff i hear its nothing really like this. I like the new G36 model though, even though it aint used much.

100% agreed.. i expressed my hate for this expansion in the other thread, but as usual, the 13 year old fanboys were like, OMFG ITS L33T CLIMBING UP WALLS WITH ROPES OMFG ROXORS! dont really understand EA, why they are catering to this demographic with this 'uber cool' spy crap, considering most players that play this game are 20 and over

I was going to buy it because my unit plans on using portions of it in a modification they will be making, but this is a definate no no now... I am shocked and disgusted, Marine Recons wouldnt do this. The only people who may use this are CIA Operatives, and maybe but almost never, Navy SEALs... this is utterly disgusting and a total smack across the face of traditional BF gameplay.

And look at the weapon loadouts All H&K stuff (except the FN2000) the only commonly used H&k weapon for the US is the MP5....They wouldnt bother with G36s when the M4 can meet all of their needs, some accesories with a few rails or some duct tape.

And about the zipline I hope that it looks like that only because they are not finished with the animation stuff. If not.......they suck......

The nightvision and teargas alone are enough to get me to check it out.

It's probably only going to be $30 anyways.

If you guys don't like it and don't want to buy it, that's fine... nobody is pressuring you too. I'm just getting tired of Battlefield 2's repetitive gameplay and vehicle whoring.

It's about time to give the game a new style of gameplay.

i wont buy the expansion, and im not complaining because i feel obligated. i complaining because i wish EA would have used their time to develop a good expansion pack with new maps, new vehicles, etc, without all this spy garbage

There are new vehicles.

New weapons? Look to mods for that.

New maps? The map editor was released recently if I remember correctly.
