When hit with teargas, you don't die, your vision gets all fuzzy and f'd up, and you can barely see. You're not killing your teammate, you're just making it hard as hell for them to see.

So, you aren't gonna be able to punish a teammate for tear gas'n you, but they will be able to grief the sh*t outa you.

Nice idea! Im sure as hell going to try that as soon as the Expansion comes out!

the tear gas in special forces will be used just about as much as the smoke grenade is used in battlefield 2, hardly ever.

I dont see that giving people teargas is a bad idea in the same way that giving people guns is a bad idea

I mean people can wound u with a gun which will in turn make u more likely to be killed by an NME.

So i think its not the weapon thats the problem, its the possible muppets that will be given it.

the tear gas in special forces will be used just about as much as the smoke grenade is used in battlefield 2, hardly ever.

I use the smoke grenade before every takeoff in a jet. I like to pop it and take off through it. Whoosh! :)

Yeah, they're a good idea in concept, and would be an awesome tool to have, but there are just way too many smacktards out there that will abuse it by using it on friendlies, not know how to use it properly, or wander into the area a la arty wanderers.
