I see this as 1 more way for the a$$holes of the BF2 community to grief other players on their own team without being a TK per se.

If your talking about the fact that if someone gets hit with tear gas they could cause a TK, if that is what your talking about then i dont think that would happen because tear gas stuns a player not poisen them.

When hit with teargas, you don't die, your vision gets all fuzzy and f'd up, and you can barely see. You're not killing your teammate, you're just making it hard as hell for them to see.

So, you aren't gonna be able to punish a teammate for tear gas'n you, but they will be able to grief the sh*t outa you.

Yea that makes sense because then they wil blame u beacause u didnt see that guy to make a kill or because he killed u and u couldnt see, i understand now.:laugh:

It looks like you only have 1 teargas per kit (just like the smoke grenade), so yeah in the middle of a firefight you throw that on your teammates, I guess, to get them killed by the enemy.

I'm not sure if you stop moving as you choke, but if you don't then its just a 10 second effect it looks like.

Dont be a paranoid, I dont think many will use it anyways. And it will not be a big deal if you can still run and shoot, enemys will still be seen as blurry blobs.

I had to go thru training using tear gas. Your eyes are watery you cough cant see for ****. So putting in the game it would fit perfectly. Tear gas is meant to stun the person or persons not kill em. SWAT uses it for hostage situations. That they do need in this game is a flashbang. Throw it in a room the enemy is stunned and blinded makes it easier for the ones attacking so they wont be shot.

Those are being added in the expansion too.
