Give us some specs of your computer please! to see if its actually worth your while! You can get a 128mb XFX FX5200, which is about it and thats crap as it is! You sure your computer hasnt got AGP, if it doesnt that is ancient! and even if you could get a 7800gtx in it, it will be still shockingly bad!

The only problem is, my motherboard does not allow AGP cards

So then AGP is not on option, right? Like others have stated, sounds like you need a new Mobo. Most new Mobos have both AGP and PCI-e slots, well atleast mine does:p . Even buying the best PCI Graphics Card will be a waste of your money, if you want to play BF2that is. I have a NVidia 6600GT - PCIe, and I'm getting 90+FPS all day long, could lock it higher, but why?

the most fun ive had out of it in the last 3 days is staring at the cover, oh, i read the manual 6 times too. =D

whats the difference between a PCI and PCIe. how would i know what one to get\?


as i say, i have 100 dollars/60 pounds to spend, as the rest of my money went on cathode lights for my box 8-(

PCI is old tech.
PCI-E is new tech which is 5x faster then the old tech.
Most newer card use this. The new Nvidia card only uses PCI-EX. Though I am not sure if they made an AGP one.

I don't think so, but I don't know for sure. Even if the Slot size was the same, I doubt your Mobo would know what to do with it. Best Buy has a ATI Radeon 9800 256MG PCI card for like $169 Canadian($140US+/-), I'm not sure if it will be enough for BF2, but that is the best you can get(other than Nvidia equivalent, if there is one) for PCI Video Cards. Have you talked to Dell about possible upgrades?
