    AGP or PCIe?

i was wondering, i cannot play the game because my graphics card is, well, crap, i want to get a new one, but i cant find a suitable PCI one, and the only other option is getting a AGP one. The only problem is, my motherboard does not allow AGP cards

i would like to get a PCI card. i have a Dell dimension desktop. i have all the other requirments to be able to play the game, but the card is what stops me.

could someone tell me where to get a compatible PCI card, (radeon or NVIDIA)

i really want to play this game, get out there with you dudes.

my budget is like 60 pounds. i know its not much, but its all i have at the moment.

also where did you people buy yours? and did they perform well?

Dabs.com have some PCI graphics cards but I have a feeling you're not going to be able to find anyone using one to compare performace. It's not likely to be good, however (assuming you're talking PCI and not PCI express).

You can get a 6600GT for less than $200...they run the game fine.

                      Re: AGP or PCIe?

Whoa...PCI is ancient. PCI slot only boards came before AGP based boards. PCI-e is the latest.

PCI video cards are extremely impossible to find and are ancient. Do not try and upgrade your video card for your current motherboard.

Since you need to upgrade your motherboard, you should go for a PCI-e based mobo and PCI-e graphics card.

                        PCI < AGP < PCIe

                        how old is your computer?

If your mobo is AGP...then that's what you need to get. Or get a new PCIe mobo and the card.

He stated above that is does not support AGP..so I imagine it's pretty old
