most likely not...probably just like an lockon target for missles bombs (ex. LASER GUIDED MISSLES ever heard the term?)

No.

It will eventually be used to 'paint' targets for aircraft.

Low on the priority list though, AFAIK.

k good because auto bomb would suck so hard, It will bring a new sense off teamwork to the game, that tank pwning your buddies and only the lone spec ops in the bush 60m away can save them...awsome.

It almost seems as if they scraped over half the game which looked cool.

After Dice fired Trauma, right before the game went gold, they took with them almost all there work; including coding, models, and gameplay items leaving BF2 the half-finished pile it is today....

Your source or proof? Specifically on the claim that Trauma worked on "coding, models, and gameplay" items. Although it's true the company did work with DICE and was fired abruptly before BF2 was released, I don't think we know the extent of which Trauma contributed to the game.

snipers already have wicked rifles, 4 hand grenades, 2 auto-kill claymores, and now you want something that insta-kills tanks?

i used to play BFMC and ive clocked over 300 hrs, and its the stupidest thing ever. The weapons in bf2 are way better and fair. Engineers get at rockets and mines... the game in unbalanced.

how it works is that the sniper has to hold down the fire button and keep the crosshairs on the tank (which is extremely easy, only an idiot can lose the lock). the tank driver will hear a beeping sound, and get out. 10 seconds later a missile from the sky blows the tank skyward.

Its stupid, for a game.
