Not that I think that the medic class is drastically OUT of balance, but I had the following idea while playing last night. Hear me out.
Most would agree that among the ground-pounder classes (Assault, Support, Medic, Spec Ops, Anti-Tank) that medic is superior.
They have arguably the best weapon (G36E) and the most useful support ability (Instant self heals), and the easiest way to earn teamwork points (Revive).
What if they were to swap weapons with the Spec Ops class?
What if Medics were forced to run with Carbines and they gave Special Forces operators the current stable of Medic Assault Rifles?
Spec Ops still wouldnt have any armor, they would have weapons better suited for medium distance as well as close up encounters, and the medics would be just a little less offensively potent than they are currently.
I love my G36E and the instant self heals, but I was just thinking of ways to change up gameplay some and this popped to mind.
